Nimi Places 20260607 released
Nimi Places 20260607 fixes surface effects and multiple other issues, as well as, refines localizations and adds thumbnails for OOXML documents.
Today, we release the latest build of Nimi Places 20260607, which importantly fixes surface effects and desktop capture related issues.
Build fixes also other multiple issues, including possible crashing due to out-of-range index, when navigating containers via keyboard upon certain conditions.
Notably, build also brings few additions, like thumbnailing support for OOXML documents and support for container z-order elevation on activation.
- Added container z-order elevation on activation.
- Added support for OOXML documents thumbnails.
- Changed default Place type container icon scale to medium (48x48px at 96 DPI).
- Changed virtual desktop checkbox to be disabled in container conditional display dialog, if container does not have virtual desktop specified and virtual desktop support is not available.
- Fixed content sorter not always checking if image is available.
- Fixed content sorter using additional generic sorting hint for each item on some code paths, even if more precise has been already added.
- Fixed crash due to invalid index being used, due to typographical error.
- Fixed crash due to out-of-range index, when navigating via keyboard to scrollable container.
- Fixed desktop capture fallback not triggered, due to inversed condition logic.
- Fixed desktop preview in quick setup, should always attempt to paint desktop with its icons, instead of only on fallback.
- Fixed invalid ISO code used for Indonesian in distribution package.
- Fixed loss of precision for size ratio computation when downscaling images upon certain conditions.
- Fixed metafile images support and handling.
- Fixed quick setup layout preview using accent colorized default theme for containers of Place type, instead of dark.
- Revised distribution package wording.
- Revised update window and dialog wording.
