Nimi Places 20260518 released, now in 4 more languages!

Newest Nimi Places 20260518 adds four more languages, improves app security, and introduces per-container accent color customization.

 

Two weeks since the last release, today, we release the lat­est build of Nimi Places 20260518, which introduces local­ization ​for 4 more languages:

  • Italian,
  • Indon­esian,
  • Turkish,
  • Portuguese (Brazilian).

Secondly, the build introduces per‑container accent color custom­ization, avail­able ​in the "Appearance" sec­tion of the con­tainer’s con­text menu. This feature is intention­ally dis­abled ​for raster themes by design, as their legacy color­ization applies only to elements that fall back to default‑theme rendering ​and should not be relied ​on ​for dynamic recoloring.

This build also includ­es a fix ​for cache corrup­tion resulting from a typographical error that incorrect­ly pair­ed a sort­ed look­up table with an unsort­ed data table. To ensure con­sistency, all caches are invalidat­ed.

Last­ly, build also adds update‑package tampering protec­tion, which blocks the specific automatic update if the download­ed package does not have the expect­ed signature.
