Nimi Places 20101231 released

since 2008

We are proud to inform that after over month of intensive works latest version of Nimi Places was released. Its development went in pair with implementing new accounts system and content distribution platform and resulted in supporting those functionality right from project (content synchronization). For all those whom wait for Nimi Visuals — we are sorry for delay, but keep in mind that Nimi projects derive from each other.

Added image viewer — images in containers can be now viewed directly in container by pressing magnifier icon displayed on image hover.
Added language localization support — localization wizard will be available in nimi store soon.
Added some switches to be later used (like on program side — update channel settings).
Added sorting by use(click) frequency.
Added syncing with nimi store — selected items from nimi store can be installed in batch by clicking sync.
Added widget types — data fetch(for retrieving and displaying content from the internet), indicators (for showing processor load, memory use, remaining battery power and drive use).
Changed interface.
Removed themes collector — now it's handled by synchronization.
Swap images for paths container can be now themed.
Updated upgrade component — now it matches new nimi compressor requirements.
Fixed(or rather changed) — directory sub-items counting is now asynchronous, previously it could lag container load for counting time.
Revised items sorting.
Revised paths skinning component.
Updated database component.
Other changes, updates and fixes.
