Today, we are releasing the latest build of Nimi Places 20260918, which fixes the recently reported runtime crashes via a Jade update.
While this is not included in the project changelog, resolving those reported runtime crashes required deep work on Jade. First to clarify, those were not detected earlier as they surfaced only under newer framework versions (default on modern operating systems). To further explain, the application automatically runs on the older framework branch whenever it is present on the system.
To address this issue, a special internal debug environment was set up to perform targeted platform compatibility diagnostics on our own post-compilation outputs. Only then did we manage to reproduce the reported issues within our test environment, and we promptly began addressing those.
Finally, Jade processing routines have been revised and improved, with subsequent testing conducted to ensure the reported issues do not re-emerge. If those crashes occur again, we will continue to address them promptly.
