5 days since the last release, newest Nimi Places build 20250210 brings multiple fixes to improve application performance and stability.
After 5 days since the last release, today we release the latest build of Nimi Places 20250210.
Build brings multiple fixes to improve application performance and stability. Two cache issues, that were severely degrading performance (making caches non-functional) were fixed. Also various theming and colorization related code was revised.
- Changed to use arcs instead of curves for drawing rounded edges.
- Changed to use small border radius for default context menu on newer operating systems.
- Fixed application icon inner background corners rendering being to small.
- Fixed brushes not being updated on system color change for line separator control.
- Fixed containers count not changed for notification tray icon text after quick setup.
- Fixed graphics path for creating large application icon being created twice (resource leak).
- Fixed header control not disposing created font (resource leak).
- Fixed methods called after quick setup being called directly instead of being invoked.
- Fixed saving shell queries strings in mutexes causing those corruption.
- Fixed shared thumbnails cache not being used, since 20250117 build, due to using full cached thumbnail path, instead of its code, when resolving.
- Fixed system accent color blending.
- Removed unused brush from header control.
- Optimized distribution package controls.
- Revised default Place type container selection rendering.
- Updated distribution package line separator control.
- Other changes, fixes and updates.
